SANi+ trademark – couple SANi, ARIPO and OAPI trademarks
SANi+ trademarks combine a SANi (South African and Nigerian combination) trademark with ARIPO and OAPI trademarks, covering up to 32 African countries with a population twice that of the US and a GDP equivalent to Australia and Spain.
SANi combination trademarks cover South Africa and Nigeria;
ARIPO trademarks can select up to 13 ARIPO member States including: Botswana, Cape Verde, Kingdom of Eswatini, The Gambia, Kingdom of Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Sao Tome and Principe, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
OAPI trademarks cover all 17 OAPI member States: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, the Comoros, the Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, the Niger, Senegal and Togo.
