How to upload cases

2. Register / login

3. Select Patent, Trademark or Design

4. Click on “Add new Patent/Trademark./Design”.

5. Select the country, insert the patent number and the required information.

Click “Save & Add Another Patent” or “Save & Exit”.

Reminders

• The system sends 6, 3 and 1 month reminders by email.
• Add as many email cc addresses as you wish.
• The backend system generates internal alerts where “anticipated” time periods for processing and completing renewals are exceeded.

Instructing a renewal

1. Go to https://ideanav.co.za/ort/ORT.html and login.

2. Select the patent / trademark / design you wish to renew and add it to cart

3. Click “Checkout” and pay by credit card.

Invoices and update emails are sent by email.

Budgeting

Click the “Cost report” button to generate a renewal cost report for the required period.

• Your patent portfolio (with live renewal statuses and patent info) is available online from any computer.
• Edit and delete patent records.
