Butter Salt Patent for Popcorn
I love popcorn 🍿 with butter & salt, especially at the movies. But, oily fingers need to be wiped and your cinema prefers clean seats. Fortunately, SCM Corporation came up with a patented solution – a butter salt sans butter, but without removing any of the enticingly delicious non-vegan bad stuff:
– Salt
– Butter flavouring
– 0.5-20% sharp melting non-butterfat with a melting point between 35-49C
The flavouring provides the butter flavour; and the comparatively higher melting point of the non-butterfat retains free flow of the salt (without clumping) at room temperature, while being sufficiently low in melting point to provide the fatty (but not waxy) feel in the mouth.
